Registries
Registries are an important tool used by medical researchers to identify disease trends in Veterans that share certain exposure events. This research can then be used to pressure congress and the VA into creating Presumptive conditions.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
Joining a registry does NOT accomplish the same thing as Filing a claim! If you want to file a claim this is something you need to do separately.
Joining a registry is NOT required if you want to file a VA claim.

Registry Exam
After you have joined a registry you should be contacted to attend an examination.
This examination will be similar to a Compensation and pension examination in that they are a quick, noninvasive (no cuttin and no deep probing), asking basic questions about your health, and your exposure history.
You may be asked to return if further testing or additional lab work is needed.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
These exam reports CAN be used as evidence toward your claim!
